This series re-interprets the idea of Inheritance.  I see my inheritance as a conceptual one, where learned-by-osmosis techniques such as crochet, basketmaking and woodcarving that I had learned while growing up in the Philippines takes a central role in my art practice. I was interested in the genealogy and the purposeful miscegenation of these techniques to create poignant hybrids that have new subjectivities.
